CHUCHEL is pure silliness packed into short scenes where logic takes a backseat. You’re not here to win. You’re here to watch a hairy orange thing throw tantrums because someone stole his cherry—again. Each level is like a little comedy sketch with slapstick timing, absurd reactions, and zero dialogue. It’s loud, it’s weird, and it’s oddly relaxing.
The star of the game, Chuchel, looks like a mix between a dust bunny and an emoji. He grunts, squeals, flails his arms, and explodes into dramatic fits whenever something doesn’t go his way (which is often). His rival, Kekel, shows up constantly to mess things up or snatch the cherry at the last second. There’s no real villain. Everyone’s just... annoying in the funniest way possible.
What makes CHUCHEL work is its commitment to nonsense. The puzzles barely feel like puzzles. Most of the time, you’re just poking things to see what breaks, explodes, dances, or makes a funny noise. There’s a loose structure to it, but the game is more about surprise than skill.
The art is hand-drawn and a bit messy, but that's the charm. It feels alive. Background characters squirm, windows blink at you, and mushrooms giggle when you click them. The music swings wildly from calm to chaotic, always keeping up with the madness on screen. And even though there's no real talking, the sound effects say everything.
Some scenes flip into throwback minigames—a twisted version of Pac-Man, a goofy side-scroller, a parody of Tetris. These switch things up enough to keep you curious. CHUCHEL is great for ten-minute breaks or when you just want to laugh without thinking too hard.
It’s not a game for everyone. If you like high scores, missions, or skill-based play, this might feel too random. But if you’re here for playful nonsense and animated tantrums, it hits the spot.
Step 1: Start the game. After the opening scene, you’re in control of Chuchel. The mission is always simple: get the cherry.
Step 2: Use your mouse (or your finger on touchscreen devices) to click around. Tap Chuchel, tap other creatures, tap everything that looks weird. There’s no right or wrong place to start.
Step 3: Try different interactions. Sometimes you’ll trigger the next part of the scene. Sometimes nothing happens, or something ridiculous does. Either way, keep clicking.
Step 4: Watch out for minigame sections. These change how the game works—maybe you’ll need to move left and right, dodge things, or time jumps. They’re usually short and silly.
Step 5: Timing matters a little. Some actions only work if you click at the right moment. Watch closely for clues, like a flashing object or a surprised look on Chuchel’s face.
Step 6: Don't stress if you're stuck. Try a different order or repeat the actions. The game wants you to mess around and enjoy what happens.
Step 7: Use the characters’ emotions as hints. If Chuchel looks frustrated or confused, you might be on the wrong track—or exactly the right one.
Step 8: When you finally get the cherry, the level ends, and a new scene starts. No score, no bonus—just more madness.
